Mono Square Series VII by insolitus85 Mono Square Series VII by insolitus85
Nieuw-Haamstede, The Netherlands, August 2011

Finally found an interesting subject for another long exposure shot. I really love this stuff, hope I can make some more of these soon!

UPDATED
The photo is now a little bit lighter. It turned out to be quite dark everywhere except in Photoshop. Maybe I should calibrate my monitor. Not sure if that solves the problem, but it doesn't hurt either.

UPDATE 2
I would just like to add; This photo really is my personal favourite. Usually they change over time, but this one is still special to me. It features almost every style or technique that I love so much in photography:
- Long exposure
- Black and white
- Square
- Abstract

I believe that, it is really a great shot, powerful in composition and it is beautiful! I like black and White, but it is hard to master...:-)

Thanks again! You have Photoshop, right? I can really recommend Silver Efex Pro. It is a plugin for black & white conversion. And a good one at that. Things I never thought possible before ;)
